LITTLE BARN THEATRE COMPANY

Little Barn Theatre Company is a theatre and education company. They aim to
create a varied programme of new and innovative theatre for all. They offer a
variety of classes and workshops across Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands.

Ranging from theatrical presentations in local venues to specific practioner or
skill based workshops. They are a small company who aims to provide consistently
high quality work that sets out to be challenging and informative for all involved.
All of their practioners are qualified teachers who have an excellent understanding
of examination requirements, alongside a passion for the dramatic arts. The focus is
on the process of taking ideas and the creativity of the performers to produce new and
dynamic performances.

Little Barn Theatre Company is actively seeking new members. The atmosphere is friendly
and warm, and young people from the age of 7 years upwards who would like to know more
about joining the company are invited to contact then below.

THEMOUSETRAP THEATRE

Mousetrap Theatre Project

Mousetrap Theatre Projects is a theatre education charity dedicated to bringing the magic of theatre
into the lives of disadvantaged young people.

We take approximately 12,000 young people to see a top London production each year. We enhance
that experience with education programmes in schools and communities, using theatre as a catalyst
to explore ideas, learn new skills, develop creativity and offer new perspectives.

The impact of a theatre visit on young people can be profound. It can change their attitudes, open
doors to new possibilities, explore a different aspect of life, teach them something new or simply
make them laugh. As one teacher from Walthamstow Academy said to us recently after a Mousetrap theatre
trip, ‘It has opened up a new world to our students and begun to open their eyes to the possibilities
that theatre has to offer… “life-changing” would not be an overstatement’
